    What's your favorite caliber ?
    Mine is the .22-250 and for close-up and personal I like a 12ga. 3.5".

.204 Ruger. With good shot placement, I have had many kills without exit holes. 40gr VMAX makes a very small entry hole and explodes inside.

I like to shoot at them with my Ak-47 even when I miss it fun unloading a 30 round mag at them. They do cartwheels an trip and go crazy trying to get away.
    Up close 12ga.

Judging from my records and brass, the .22-250 and the .223 Rem bolt actions get the most use (in that order), but I don't overlook the .222 Rem and .22 Hornet.

Have tried several and always end up going back to the .22-250!!! Love this caliber and I have a rifle that was built by a great gunsmith. He gave me the load for the gun and it has never had factory ammo through it.

The '250 is definitely my favorite caliber. I think Bigbadude is having a lot of fun with his AK tho !!

It may sound strange but I like a .177 air rifle to the skull so I don't put a hole in the hide as that is mostly what I keep from the animal. The rest goes to my uncle in Idaho for cougar hunting.
