I keep thinking about having a custom made rod for springer.
Just wonder if they are worth the money or should I just stay with production made rods?
Right now I am fishing with Okuma STS rods.

Nothing wrong with that (Okuma STS) A friend just had a custom rod made that will work for sturgeon and salmon for $310 (really nice rod)good for at least a 400 lb. sturgeon if you are looking for something like that.

I use my tried and true Lamiglas G1310-T's, they are 10-20# test and just right for Springers and big Coho. I have 3 of them and wanting to get a 4th so all the rods are matched and fishing the same. Before I got too old for bank fishing I didn't care what kind of rod I used as long as it could take the abuse and the occasional high sticking I was famous for.... lol but now I feel as I am true to the Lamiglas brand. Here is a tip, look online like C/L and fishing forums for deals, my first one was the only NEW salmon and steelhead rod I have ever bought over 25 years!!! Buy used & save $$$$ for good brand name rods.

I was ordering 1576 rounds and goofed up on the order somehow and placed 2 orders so now I have 3102 rounds coming witch is a lot of 22lr for me.
Plus the price was alittle high but oh well. Some day they will be worth millions
