As a proud veteran I'd like to extend a hearty "THANK YOU" to all who have served!!! I served in the US Army with duty stations in Ft. Knox, Ky., Ft Carson, Co and Ft. Logan, CO.
Same to you! I served in the U.S. Army as well. Fort Ord , Fort Bragg , Fort Campbell and the Berlin Brigade. 8 years and 4 combat tours. Andy
Awesome Andy!!! I grew up on Ft. Bragg & in Fayetteville for my first 12 years of life. My Dad was airborne & special forces in the 101st & 82 during his 23 years of service. I was one helluva boot shining kid, it made me proud to help my father look amazing in his uniforms. OMG, I just found out that the 82nd airborne was stripped of their airborne status!!! Not relevant anymore, BS!!!! http://www.duffelblog.com/2014/04/82nd-airborne-legs/
Not "relevant" ... BS is right. I was in LRRP / LRSD teams Based out of Campbell and Bragg and they too were "Not Relevant" and phased out . Sad and shameful. For today's combat Airborne and LRSD outfits are ideal , Just what the Department of Defense is thinking is beyond me ... Andy
Owebamacrats!!! Since when is the DOD worried about saving money? My two older brothers were born on Ft. Campbell....
